Learn the history of Tuckahoe, located on the Indian River in Jensen Beach and listed on the National Historic Register, from its creation in 1936 by Willaford and Anne Bates Leach, Coca Cola heiress and founder of The Garden Club of Stuart, to its function as a Novitiate of the Sisters of St. Joseph, administration offices for Florida Institute of Technology (FIT), state of disrepair and restoration for public use.

Annual Spring Luncheon at 11:30 am

The Annual Luncheon will once again be held at Mariner Sands Country Club, 6500 Mariner Sands Drive (off US1), Stuart 34997. Recipients of the 2012 Member of the Year Award and the 2012 Community Service Award will be announced. This year’s guest Speaker, Wae Nelson, will entertain us with "Gardening for a Happy, Healthy Lifestyle". The cost of the Luncheon is $25. Luncheon Tickets will be available through Circles or at General Meetings.
